Clinton Elementary is a Title I school nestled in the center of downtown Lancaster, South Carolina.  Clinton’s staff is committed to excellence by preparing children to become lifelong learners, in order to be successful in a challenging world. Our students have access to technology daily through the use of iPads and Chromebooks.  With the help of committed parents, community, teachers, and administrators, students engage in daily adventures in learning which prepare them to be independent responsible learners. We are so fortunate to have so many committed adults who care about our children and work in partnership with the school to enhance our students’ academic achievement.

Clinton aims to provide a safe, caring, and academically challenging learning environment. In the 2022-2023 school year, Clinton Elementary served 414 students in Prekindergarten to Grade 5, with 48 percent being female and 51.9 percent being male. Our teachers receive ongoing professional development and collaborate weekly with our math and literacy coaches to plan whole-group and small-group instruction using the Lancaster County School District’s academic pacing guide.

Furthermore, CES educates the whole child by implementing a true MTSS team that meets regularly to discuss and plan for optimal learning outcomes.  Also, CES continues to orchestrate Cub Crew Workers which allows students to gain real-world work experience such as applying for jobs, interviewing, working, and receiving paychecks for their jobs.  Jobs include Safety Patrols, Cub Crew Helpers, Bankers, and Flag Patrol.
