Camden Middle School is helping all students develop world class skills and the life career characteristics of the Profile of the South Carolina Graduate by developing confident, responsible and competent learners. Our dedication to our motto of “Inspire Every Child Every Day,” is demonstrated in our implementation of best practices and continuous professional development.
We are proud of the accomplishments and growth we have experienced this year. Academically we saw tremendous growth in our State testing scores even in the wake of the pandemic gains in four out of six Math and ELA categories. We outperformed State averages in three out of six areas. Our Academic Quiz Bowl team returned to competition with a region area championship. As a school, we successfully garnered Schools to Watch re-designation for 2022—2025. This is truly an honor as it is representative of our commitment to continuous improvement..
In athletics, our Girls Basketball team won the Region championship and we had winning seasons in Volleyball, Boys Basketball Football and Wrestling as well with four students qualifying for the State Tournament.
In the arts, we are proud to have our band and chorus programs on the rise again. We have also restarted our Art and Chorus Clubs providing students with an opportunity to collaborate and develop their artistic skills.
We are thankful for the support provided to our school and students and realize that any success realized at Camden Middle School is the result of a team effort between parents, students, staff and our community
