North Augusta High School is helping all students develop the world class skills and life and career characteristics of the profile of the South Carolina graduate by graduating students with the competence to contribute substantially to the world in which we live and to become effective lifelong learners and responsible citizens. To this end, North Augusta High School promotes the development of the skills, knowledge and personal qualities that characterize a well-educated person. Stakeholders have worked together to provide students with rigorous academic and diverse co-curricular programming, preparing students to move forward to post-secondary education. The 2020-2021 school year reflected this purpose through the continuation of academic excellence and student support systems.
North Augusta High School has maintained an advanced placement academy. This effort was due to the continued efforts of the North Augusta High School faculty, students, and parents. Classroom interventions and program interventions such as the freshman academy continue to be an area of focus and have proved to be extremely successful in student achievement. The School Improvement Council was influential in setting the course for the 2020-2021 school year by continuing to support the freshman academy.
One of the most exciting changes at North Augusta High School was the completion of the construction of the fourth phase of our new high school facility that served the class of 2021. This construction is the fourth phase of a plan, which will eventually replace the current facility. Under the banner of our shared mantra “Excellence in Academics, Excellence in Arts, and Excellence in Athletics” we desire to continue our efforts to create a true community school that serves the needs of all of our stakeholders.
