During the 2025–2026 school year, Greenville High Academy continued its commitment to providing a rigorous, student-centered educational experience that prepares graduates with the world-class knowledge, world-class skills, and life and career characteristics identified in the Profile of the South Carolina Graduate. Through our magnet program in Law, Finance, and Business, students engaged in authentic, career-focused learning experiences designed to promote college and career readiness while fostering critical thinking, collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills. Faculty remained committed to continuous professional learning and the implementation of research-based instructional practices that support high levels of student achievement.
Students participated in a comprehensive curriculum that integrated academic rigor with real-world application. Specialized coursework in law, finance, and business provided opportunities to develop industry-relevant knowledge and transferable workplace skills. The Law Enforcement Career course, led by a former law enforcement officer, offered students firsthand exposure to careers in public safety while strengthening community partnerships. Additionally, students operated a fully functioning branch of the Greenville Federal Credit Union, applying financial literacy, customer service, and business management skills in an authentic workplace environment while earning academic credit.
Greenville High Academy students continued to demonstrate excellence across academic, artistic, and extracurricular programs. Band and orchestra students earned recognition through selections to All-Region, All-County, and All-State ensembles, reflecting high levels of musical achievement. Student-athletes exemplified a commitment to both academic and athletic excellence, maintaining a combined athletic GPA of 4.74. School culture and student engagement were further enhanced through Raider Pride, whose leadership in planning pep rallies, Homecoming activities, and school-wide events fostered school connectedness, positive relationships, and a strong sense of community.
A significant highlight of the school year was Greenville High Academy's continued partnership with the Jasmine Road. Through coordinated service-learning experiences, students participated in fundraising initiatives, volunteer opportunities, and community outreach efforts that reinforced civic responsibility and leadership. Collectively, these efforts resulted in raising more than $500,000 in one week, demonstrating the meaningful impact students can have through community collaboration and service.
Greenville High Academy also continued to strengthen its Freshman Academy by implementing intentional supports that promote a successful transition into high school and improve student achievement and engagement. The school further expanded the purposeful integration of instructional technology across all content areas, providing students with opportunities to develop digital literacy and collaboration skills essential for success in postsecondary education, the workforce, and an increasingly global society. Through these collective efforts, Greenville High Academy remains committed to continuous improvement, educational excellence, and ensuring that every student graduates prepared for college, careers, and lifelong success.
