Tigerville Elementary school's philosophy is grounded in one principle: children first.  This philosophy is what makes our culture a caring and nurturing environment.  Children are at the core of all our planning and decision making.  When you enter Tigerville Elementary, you enter a place that feels happy and welcoming.  Our main goal is to ensure that students feel safe, comfortable, encouraged, supported, and challenged.  Throughout the years, teachers and students have continued to exhibit extreme pride in Tigerville.  We attribute this pride to the efforts spent forming lasting relationships with our students and families. 

Tigerville Elementary School is helping all students develop world-class skills through the implementation of the Graduate and College and Career Readiness model.  This model aligns with our Graduation+ district initiative, technology integration, and real-world immersion with career paths for our students. Teachers plan, collaborate and instruct with a strong emphasis on the whole child and meeting each child’s personal needs with attention to their learning styles.  Tigerville students set goals, know their data, and participate in student-led conferences.   Social and emotional learning (SEL) lessons are a part of each classroom curriculum.  Through passionate leadership and a tenacious vision, a culture exists that embraces our philosophy through keeping our students first at all times with an emphasis on high achievement and personal growth.
