Lewisville Elementary School supports all students to develop the world-class skills and life and career characteristics of the Profile of the South Carolina Graduate by providing a safe, caring, and academically challenging learning environment.  Our school’s vision “Lions Empowered to Succeed” exemplifies a culture of collaboration with students, colleagues, and all stakeholders and empowers students to succeed in a demanding local and global society. 

In order to accomplish our mission, our Professional Learning Community embodies consistent analysis of student data individually and as a whole.  The data allows us to make instructional decisions that address the diverse needs of our learners.  Teachers consistently collaborate, share best practices and embrace themselves in innovative professional learning opportunities. 

Lewisville Elementary is excited about the innovative and engaging programs offered to enhance the learning experiences of our students while addressing the whole child.  Innovative opportunities include the Art Club, Cub Chorus , Career Days, Student Council, Flag Patrol and Safety Patrol.  Through our district’s 1 to 1 technology initiative teachers are continually trained in the use of new innovative technologies and receive the opportunity to use some of the latest cutting edge instructional technology in their classrooms.

Lewisville Elementary is committed to parent, community and stakeholder engagement.  Many of our business partners (local industries and restaurants) provide fiscal and human resources to advance our instructional programs.  Our school’s Blackboard website, Twitter page and Facebook page share information and pictures of current school events and activities.  We are pleased with all of the parental, community, and stakeholders that support our school’s academic endeavors and special projects. 

Lewisville Elementary is committed and determined that academic success can be achieved by all students.  We believe this goal can be achieved by treating students as individuals and building a positive, respectful relationship with them.  We are dedicated to providing each student with engaging, innovative, and challenging instruction which will support in facilitating in the development of our future South Carolina graduates and world leaders!
