Our school is helping all students develop the world class skills and life and career characteristics of the Profile of the South Carolina Graduate by providing equal educational opportunities for all students through the use of engaging and appropriate educational practices. Along with academics, we stress a safe and organized environment that is conducive to learning. We strive to provide a safe, caring and academically challenging learning environment.  Team of  teachers have participated in Personilized Learning training and have implemented the instructional practice in the classroom.  The teachers also plan with teams in grade level planning and with the instructional coach in Professional Learning Communities. We encourage parental and community involvement in various activities throughout the year, during the school day and/or in the evenings. We believe that the school, family and community must share the responsibility of educating our children. We also provide extra academic assistance throughout the year. We have enrichment programs,  tutors, after school program and summer school camp. During the school year, we provide universal breakfast along with the lunch opportunities. We participate in the ""Healthy Snacks"" Program. We also partner with local churches to provide back packs of food to be taken home over the weekend. Our population is ever growing and changing at Ford. As a school, we must continue to grow and change in order to meet the challenges that lie ahead.
