GREEN Charter School of the Midlands’s enrollment for the 2020-2021 school year was 266 students in grades K-8. Our student population is extremely diverse, representing over 16 countries. Our student to teacher ratio is 1:12. This low ratio allows us to tailor instruction for each individual student, challenging the gifted student, and offering intervention services for our low achievers.

GREEN Charter School of the Midlands implements PLTW,  the NEED curriculum, Green Steps, and Experiential Learning across all grade levels. PLTW or Project Lead the Way is a K-12 curriculum that focuses on problem-solving and engineering skills. Students work collaboratively in order to solve problems while following the engineering design process. NEED is dedicated to promoting energy conscious and educated society by providing a multi-sided Energy curriculum. Green Steps is an environmental action committee that recognizes schools that take annual sustainable steps toward becoming more environmentally responsible. These facets of our curriculum support the mission of Green Charter School of the Midlands in providing students with developing an understanding of environmental sustainability, renewable energy, and technology.
