2025-2026 School Report Card Narrative

The 2025–2026 school year at Chesnee Elementary School was defined by collaboration, growth, and a commitment to excellence. Guided by our theme, "Changing the Game," students, staff, families, and community partners worked collectively to ensure that every child had the opportunity to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

At Chesnee Elementary, we remain focused on our mission of putting students first while knowing every child by their name and need. We continued to work on developing the knowledge, skills, and characteristics outlined in the Profile of the South Carolina Graduate. Our dedicated faculty and staff provide a safe, nurturing, and academically challenging environment where high expectations are paired with meaningful support. Through data-driven instruction, targeted interventions, and engaging learning experiences, we strive to meet the individual needs of every student while celebrating their unique strengths and accomplishments.

Strong partnerships with families and local community continue to be a cornerstone of our success. Family engagement opportunities, school-wide celebrations, volunteer support, and community collaborations have strengthened the connection between home and school and reinforced our shared commitment to student achievement.

This year, our students demonstrated perseverance, leadership, and a desire to grow both inside and outside the classroom. Through academic recognition programs, leadership opportunities, fine arts experiences, and positive behavior initiatives, students were encouraged to develop confidence, character, and a love of learning.

Chesnee Elementary School is proud to have earned an overall rating of Excellent on the South Carolina School Report Card, reflecting the collective efforts of our students, staff, families, and community. As we celebrate this accomplishment, we remain committed to continuous improvement and to ensuring that every "Champ" is equipped to succeed today and prepared for tomorrow. Together, we will continue to "change the game" and soar to even greater heights.
