Clover School District’s (CSD) student achievement remains high following a year of preparation for growth and change.
The 2025-2026 school year included student reassignment, staff reassignment and all the planning required for the district to open three new schools in the fall of 2026. These new schools–Liberty Hill Elementary, Roosevelt Middle and Lake Wylie High–joined the CSD Family on August 3, 2026.
Despite these transitions, students and staff delivered on our promise of “Each child, Each day…Excellence.” Clover students at all grade levels continued to outperform their counterparts across the Palmetto State, posting scores that ranked consistently in the top five in South Carolina on most tests at most grade levels.
The 2025-2026 school year was highlighted by outstanding performance in extracurricular activities as well. Clover High School (CHS) earned three state championships–Girls Cross Country, Boys Wrestling and Boys Soccer. The CHS Pride of Clover Marching Band put the town with “love” in the middle on the map with their appearance in the Tournament of Roses Parade on New Year’s Day 2026.
CSD remains committed to our mission of “empowering our students to lead their world.” Perhaps this college and career readiness is best demonstrated by our students at the Center for Career Innovation (CCI). During the 2025-2026 school year:
-
408 students in the senior class completed one of CCI’s 22 career pathways, meaning they took every class in the area, including the culminating course offered at the highest level;
-
CCI students earned 2,900 industry credentials–documentation of their skills that they can give to an employer to demonstrate their readiness for work;
-
129 students completed internships in the community; and
-
Students earned 810 college credit hours through York Technical College or Dual Enrollment programming.
CSD thanks our talented and committed workforce of more than 1,500 employees. We pride ourselves on being a “destination district”-- a place where high quality educators choose to work because of our competitive salaries, employee engagement programming and supportive professional culture.
CSD extends appreciation to our community, whose ongoing support helps CSD students and staff achieve at the highest level. CSD hosts an annual Community Partner Honor Roll event to recognize businesses, churches, non-profit organizations and individuals for their meaningful contributions to our district.
