Academic Achievements
The 2025 graduating class of OHSHP has set remarkable records and achieved significant milestones, reflecting our unwavering commitment to academic excellence. Notable achievements include:
• 100% Projected Graduation Rate

• 92% Projected College or Career Readiness
• 72% of the Class holds a 3.0 GPA or higher
We are especially proud to celebrate the accomplishments of our Class of 2025 Valedictorian, Mr. Jayrah Bostic, who is the second male in school history to hold this honor. He is also a graduate of the prestigious Governor’s School for Science and Mathematics Engineering Accelerate Essentials Program, a Palmetto Fellows Scholar, and a Presidential Scholar.
Over half of the senior class at OHSHP participated in early college coursework, demonstrating their commitment to academic advancement. Among them, 38 seniors earned six or more college credits, showcasing strong initiative and preparedness for postsecondary success. Impressively, seven students accumulated enough credits to begin college as juniors, while 17 will enter as sophomores. An additional 11 students are set to begin their college journey as second-semester freshmen. The remaining college-bound scholars will start with at least 12 college credits already completed, positioning the entire graduating class ahead of the curve in their pursuit of higher education. Moreover, for the first time in HSHP history, seven students earned their Associate of Arts Degree prior to high school graduation, a testament to the drive and diligence of our scholars.
