Blue Ridge High School is helping all students develop the World Class Skills of the Profile of the South Carolina Graduate by preparing them to be college and career ready. We are committed to producing young adults who are prepared for the workforce, the military, and/or college.
Blue Ridge High School is focused on three core goals:
-
Building strong Relationships with each other and holding each other to high expectations.
-
Collaborating to create an Organization that promotes the Achievement of all students.
-
Rallying our school and community around everything that makes BRHS exceptional.
These goals form the foundation of our school mantra, #HearUsROAR. Our vision is to provide students with a world-class education that empowers them to ROAR long after graduation.
Academically, Blue Ridge offers multiple Advanced Placement, Dual Credit, and seven career “Completer” pathways. The Class of 2025 celebrated over 200 students earning College or Career Readiness (CCR) and secured more than $5 million in college scholarships. We continue our international partnership with the Hebei Global Village International School in China, offering students virtual collaboration opportunities on academic projects that develop global competencies.
Our School Improvement Council (SIC) was honored as a finalist for the prestigious Dick and Tunky Riley SIC Award for Excellence, demonstrating our community's commitment to continuous improvement.
Our clubs and student organizations continue to thrive:
-
The Beta Club was recognized as both a Club of Merit and a Club of Distinction for 2024, with representation from all grade levels.

Our agriculture program continues to flourish. Supported by a $250,000 Career and Technology Education grant, BRHS is in the design phase for a livestock facility that will serve as a learning hub for current and future agricultural students.
We also celebrated another successful RidgeFest, uniting Blue Ridge High School, Blue Ridge Middle, Tigerville Elementary, Skyland Elementary, and Mountain View Elementary. With student performances, art exhibits, car and Jeep shows, obstacle courses, and community vendors, RidgeFest continues to represent the very best of the Blue Ridge community.
As the 2024–2025 school year concludes, Blue Ridge High School remains committed to helping all students develop into graduates who are prepared, resilient, and capable of thriving in any future. Our students leave with the skills, relationships, and confidence to make a difference. #HearUsROAR
