Estill Elementary School is a school of approximately 195 students ranging from Pre-K through 4th grades. Our mission is to unleash the power of education to improve student achievement. 

Our school is helping all students to develop and utilize the World Class Skills that is needed and necessary to become a world class South Carolina Graduate.  They will be able to explain, demonstrate, and apply the necessary attributes toward their success. The staff has been provided with best practice training for the delivery of quality instruction when utilizing our rigorous curriculum (Open Court and iReady) to improve instruction. Our staff continues to have on-going professional developments that focuses on planning, data analysis, instructional strategies, and the collaboration of teachers in pedagogy.  This allows for additional support as our mission continues to be possible. We have complete our LETRS training which provided us with extra skills needed to master the fundamentals of reading instruction—phonological awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, comprehension, writing, and language.

Our mission, that we have continued to accept, will allow us to prepare EACH child, EACH day, and EVERY classroom to be college/career/citizen ready with no excuse. This will allow them to demonstrate their BEST: Behave Responsibly, Exceed Expectation, Scholarship First, Teamwork Always. We will utilize our online programs such as Dream box, Progress Learning, and Generation Genius, which assist with the increase of our i-Ready benchmark scores and state test scores. Our i-Ready provides our students with their individual learning pathway to ensure the improvement of the academic gap that has occur.
