Located in the heart of North Augusta, Hammond Hill is a recipient of the National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence, Palmetto’s Finest, and many other awards.  Hammond Hill is dedicated to helping all students develop the world class skills, as well as, life and career characteristics of the Profile of the South Carolina Graduate by providing opportunities for collaboration, creativity, communication, critical thinking, and leadership which will equip them for the work force and life in a globally competitive world.

At Hammond Hill Elementary, we demonstrate our commitment to ensuring all students are successful and excel by tracking student data, utilizing researched based instructional strategies, and providing timely interventions and acceleration opportunities such as SPIRE, Bridges Math, Project-based learning, Break-out boxes, and multilingual learner support.  Teachers participate in ongoing professional development designed to improve teaching and learning that focus on Multi-Tiered System of Supports, providing remediation and acceleration, analyzing data, LETRS (aligned with The Science of Reading), and how to use technology to extend learning in meaningful ways.  Together, we develop goals and teaching methods that are developmentally appropriate and meet the academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs of all learners.
