In 2018-19, Jackson STEM Middle School continues to strive in helping all students develop the world-class skills and characteristics as it pertains to crafting the Profile of the South Carolina Graduate by providing a safe, caring, and academically challenging learning environment. The faculty and staff at Jackson Middle School are committed to provide a nurturing environment that enhances the individual student’s academic performance by infusing real-world, rigorous and relevant STEM experiences into the SC curriculum.
With the support of local community groups, businesses, and our parents we are able to build programs that reach optimal effectiveness. We hope to further construct partnerships with all stakeholders to build a true team approach that enriches the education of our student. An example of this expanding partnership is our creation of our partnerships with SRNS, SRR, and other STEM industry. It is our belief that building a positive experience while keeping engagement and rigor high will build a globally competitive student. As any important milestone in the student’s educational career, Jackson works to build an efficient transitional program for students both entering the secondary stage of their education and those who are expanding in this stage.
The Jackson STEM Middle School Community and the STEM Advisory Council continue to work diligently to enhance our strategic plans to build on school strengths and offer support for areas of improvement. Our mutual goal is to build programs and a climate that adhere to the highest level of effectiveness for the individual learner and collaboration amongst all stakeholders.
We are excited about our academic evolutions and the partnerships with local industry and community. Please feel free to contact the school at any time with questions or comments. Upon your first visit, we’re sure you will agree, “Jackson’s Thrive is Worth the Drive!”
