North Myrtle Beach High School works diligently to prepare all students to develop world class knowledge and skills and to promote the life and career characteristics essential for success represented by the Profile of the South Carolina Graduate. Students exceled in academics, athletics, fine arts, and set new standards in service leadership and volunteering in the community. SAT scores were above the national and state average. EOC scores for NMBHS surpassed both our state and our district. NMBHS was recognized as a Top High School by US News and World Reports. The Class of 2019 generated over $12 million in scholarships. Several students in our orchestra were selected as All County, All Region and All State. One student was chosen for the 2019 All-National Honor Ensembles Symphony Orchestra. Our school produced Region Champions in Volleyball, Wrestling, Baseball, Girls’ Cross-Country, and Boys’ Track & Field. The NMBHS Ladies Chiefs Volleyball Team went on the win the Class 4A State Championship. North Myrtle Beach High School is an outstanding high school, rich in diversity and culture. We will continue to work collaboratively with our community and with school stakeholders to be a premier school in our nation.
