Academically, Fountain Inn High School continues to demonstrate excellence. Our inaugural graduating class established a strong foundation for success, achieving an outstanding 94.5% Graduation Rate and an 81.7% College and Career Readiness (CCR) Rate, reflecting our commitment to preparing students for life after high school. Building upon that success, the Class of 2026 achieved a historic milestone by earning $12.8 million in scholarships, the highest total in school history. We also proudly celebrated a significant academic achievement with the recognition of Fountain Inn High School's first National Merit Scholar.
Through rigorous coursework, Advanced Placement classes, dual-credit opportunities both on and off campus, career and technical education pathways, and work-based learning experiences, students continue to discover meaningful pathways aligned with their future goals. Our partnerships with local businesses, industries, colleges, and community organizations provide authentic learning experiences that connect classroom learning to real-world opportunities. In recognition of our commitment to preparing students for success in STEM and career-focused fields, Fountain Inn High School earned the prestigious Project Lead The Way (PLTW) Distinguished High School designation for 2 consecutive years, highlighting our dedication to providing students with high-quality, innovative learning experiences.
Innovation remains a hallmark of the Fountain Inn High School experience. Our Robotics program secured its place among the state's elite by earning Back-to-Back South Carolina State Championships in 2025 and 2026, demonstrating exceptional technical skill, collaboration, and perseverance. These accomplishments reflect our commitment to preparing students for careers in STEM and emerging industries while fostering creativity, problem-solving, and innovation.
Students also excelled in academic competition and the fine arts. The Fountain Inn High School Speech and Debate Team earned the prestigious Class 4A State Champion Sweepstakes Award, recognizing the program as the top overall Speech and Debate program at the state tournament.
The Fountain Inn High School Chorus program continued its tradition of excellence by earning multiple Superior Ratings at the South Carolina Music Educators Association Choral Performance Assessment, including a Superior with Distinction rating at the Level 4 assessment. Chorus students also earned top honors at Music in the Parks, receiving multiple first-place finishes and superior ratings across several performance categories. These accomplishments reflect the dedication, talent, and artistry of our student performers and directors.
The Fountain Inn High School Band Program received the prestigious South Carolina Band Directors Association Outstanding Performance Award, one of the highest honors awarded to band programs in South Carolina. This distinction reflects sustained excellence across marching, concert, and performance activities and highlights the dedication of our student musicians and directors.
Athletics continue to be a source of pride for the Fury community. During the 2025–2026 school year, 718 high school student-athletes (464 male and 254 female) and 125 middle school student-athletes (91 male and 34 female) represented Fountain Inn in competition. These student-athletes excelled both on the field and in the classroom, helping the Athletic Department achieve an outstanding overall GPA of 4.28, while 18 teams earned a collective GPA of 4.0 or higher.
Fury athletics experienced tremendous competitive success during the year, with 13 teams advancing to postseason play and six teams capturing region championships. Individual athletes earned widespread recognition, including 118 All-Region selections, 20 All-State honors, and three North-South All-Star selections. The excellence of our student-athletes was further reflected through nine Region Players of the Year, while our coaching staff was recognized with six Region Coach of the Year awards. Additionally, Fountain Inn High School celebrated one Individual State Champion, further demonstrating the strength and competitiveness of our athletic programs.
These achievements reflect the dedication, discipline, and commitment of our student-athletes, coaches, and families while reinforcing the values of teamwork, leadership, perseverance, and excellence.
Beyond academics, athletics, and the arts, Fountain Inn High School remains deeply committed to developing leadership and strengthening community connections. Through service projects, student leadership opportunities, community partnerships, and school-wide initiatives, our students continue to demonstrate compassion, responsibility, and a commitment to making a positive impact on others.
