Fountain Inn High School, home of the Fury, proudly represents a spirit of intensity, extreme fierceness, rapid action, and a state of inspired exaltation. Our mascot embodies the energy and passion that drive our students, staff, and community toward excellence in academics, athletics, and the arts. We foster a collaborative environment that engages students, faculty, staff, parents, industry experts, business leaders, civic servants, and community members alike.
As a growing school in a vibrant and supportive community, Fountain Inn High is intentionally building traditions that reflect a positive school culture. Our vision is clear: to create pathways for every student so that each one has a plan for themselves the day after graduation. We believe that success looks different for every learner, and we are committed to providing meaningful, personalized opportunities that prepare students for college, careers, and life through real work projects and experiences.
We proudly uphold four core values that shape the foundation of who we are:
-
Leadership is the art of guiding others with integrity and dependability. Built on confidence and accountability, it is marked by passion and demonstrated through hard work and foresight.
-
Community is a foundation of trust, compassion, and mutual understanding. Strengthened by diversity and acceptance, it is sustained through teamwork and a commitment to uplifting others.
-
Innovation is the transformative process of turning vision into meaningful progress. Fueled by creativity and curiosity, it is shaped by experience and driven to push boundaries.
-
Success is the result of continuous growth and persistent effort. Driven by ambition and balance, it is earned through resilience and the courage to embrace every challenge.
In the summer of 2025, we opened a new academic wing to support our growing enrollment and evolving instructional needs. That same year, we celebrated a major milestone with the graduation of our first senior class of 389 students, who collectively earned over $10 million in scholarships.
Academically, Fountain Inn High offers a rigorous curriculum with numerous opportunities for students to earn college credit. Our students consistently perform at high levels on End-of-Course (EOC) exams, with Algebra 1, Biology, and English 2 ranking in the top five in the district for passage rates.
We are also proud of our commitment to career and technical education. Our second annual CTE Summit was a tremendous success, with 38 businesses, schools, and organizations participating to connect students with future pathways in industry, innovation, and post-secondary education. 32 students successfully completed all criteria for work-based learning internship with our local business partners.
Our state champion robotics team showcased their talents and technical skills on the national stage, while our band, chorus, and orchestra each earned Superior with Distinction ratings at their state concert performance festivals, demonstrating excellence in the arts across all programs.
Athletically, 844 student-athletes represented FIHS across 41 teams, achieving 4 region titles, advancing 12 varsity teams to playoffs, and earning recognition with 4 individual state champions. We also celebrated our highest finish yet in the SC Athletic Administrators Association Carlisle Cup, tying for 9th overall in Class AAAA, a prestigious award recognizing schools for athletic success and playoff performance.
A strong focus on community and service guides our students to embody compassion and leadership. Two students have earned the overall Servant Award at RYLA in the summers of 2024 and 2025. The community collectively raised over $58,000 during the 24-25 spirit week, granting eight wishes to local families in need.
As we continue to grow and evolve, Fountain Inn High School remains committed to developing well-rounded, future-ready students, grounded in community, driven by innovation, empowered through leadership, and determined to achieve success.
