Grounded in Stephen Covey's The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, our school has embraced a common language that empowers students to take ownership of their learning, build meaningful relationships, set personal goals, and celebrate both individual and collective successes. Our staff models these leadership principles daily, creating a culture where students are encouraged to find their voice while inspiring others to do the same.

Serving approximately 560 students as a Title I school, Redcliffe Elementary remains committed to providing rigorous, engaging instruction while meeting the diverse needs of every learner. Our instructional team works collaboratively to ensure students receive high-quality teaching that promotes critical thinking, problem-solving, creativity, communication, and collaboration—skills that align with the Profile of the South Carolina Graduate and prepare students for future success.
Literacy remains a cornerstone of our instructional program. Through Reading and Writing Workshop, evidence-based instructional practices, and ongoing professional learning, teachers provide meaningful literacy experiences that foster confident readers and writers. Frequent formative assessments and progress monitoring allow educators to make informed instructional decisions and provide targeted interventions ensuring every student receives the support needed to achieve academic growth.
Our mathematics program encourages students to think critically, reason mathematically, and apply their learning through engaging, standards-based instruction. Teachers utilize differentiated whole-group and small-group instruction while providing additional support for students requiring individualized assistance with targeted interventions. Opportunities such as Robotics further extend learning by encouraging innovation, collaboration, and real-world problem solving.
Leadership opportunities allow students to put these skills into action. Through organizations and activities such as Student Council, Safety Patrol, Running Club, Battle of the Books, Robotics, and other extracurricular experiences, students develop confidence, teamwork, and a commitment to serving others. These experiences reinforce our belief that every child has unique talents and the ability to make a meaningful difference.
Our success is strengthened by the partnerships we share with our families and community. Our Parent Teacher Organization (PTO), School Improvement Council (SIC), business partners, volunteers, and community organizations work alongside our staff to create enriching opportunities for students while fostering strong connections between school and home. Together, we celebrate achievements, support one another through challenges, and remain united in our shared mission of student success.
