Approaches Expectations: The student approaches expectations as defined by the grade-level content standards. The student needs additional academic support to be prepared for the next grade level.
Does Not Meet Expectations: The student does not meet expectations as defined by the grade-level content standards. The student needs substantial academic support to be prepared for the next grade level
Social Studies Performance Categories
Exemplary : The student demonstrates performance that exceeds or consistently exceeds expectations for a typical student at this grade level.
Met :The student demonstrates performance that meets expectations at this grade level.
Not Met :The student either demonstrates performance that sometimes meets expectations at this grade level, or the student needs additional instructional opportunities to achieve the Met level.
