Mauldin Middle School is a traditional middle school where we prepare all students to succeed in becoming lifelong learners and responsible community members. Our vision is to develop well-rounded learners in a collaborative community including families and neighboring contributors. We foster lifelong learners who are responsible, productive citizens by encouraging involvement, growth and reflection through student-centered learning.
Our students have opportunities to thrive in academic classes, related arts coursework and service projects. Students at Mauldin Middle School participate in a rich reading program that includes Mustang Books and celebrations throughout the year. Seventh and eighth grade students can take high school credit courses and can choose from over ten high school credit courses. During the 2022-2023 school year over 400 students earned a high school credit course.
Our performing arts program includes band, choir and orchestra programs that consistently win superior and excellent ratings in regional competitions. Twenty five of our students entered the Greenville County Schools art competition and five of those students placed. Our Robotics Team participated in four competitions and placed at each event. The Mauldin Middle School Cafe Players put on a production of The Music Man, Jr. and our choral students performed at Carnegie Hall in New York City. We offer extracurricular opportunities including National Junior Beta Club, Youth in Government, Robotics Team, Dance Team, Blush Female Mentoring Program, Boys to Men Mentoring Program, intramurals and Club Unify. Mauldin Middle School has a strong mentoring program that includes neighbors and students from our feeder high school.
