Our school is helping all students develop the world class skills and life and career characteristics of the South Carolina graduate by following our vision that states: "All students at Robert Anderson Middle School will enter high school with the skills needed to complete a rigorous curriculum in preparation for a successful future." The culture of Robert Anderson supports this vision. Teachers demonstrate this vision by using best practices to provide a rigorous curriculum for our students. During the 2022-2023 school year, Robert Anderson Middle School remained focused on academic achievement and the growth of our students and faculty. Students who qualify for the Beta Club are not only high academic achievers, but also perform many hours of community service. All of our students had the opportunity to participate in activities to raise money for Relay for Life, the United Way, or contribute in other ways to charity organizations within our community. Students are also given the opportunity to participate in athletics and the arts. Students who are interested in athletics have the opportunity to participate in football, basketball, volleyball, cheerleading, and wrestling at the middle school level. Students are also allowed to participate at the high school level in certain sports, such as baseball, soccer, and track and field. Our school continues to work with parents to help integrate technology in the homes with various parent workshops. Our school population continued to adjust throughout the 2022-2023 school year with nearly 1,200 students. We continue to challenge each student with a rigorous curriculum and also give him/her the opportunity to develop in the areas of Academics, Athletics, and Arts. We will continue to develop well-rounded citizens to be our leaders of tomorrow.
