Achievements and Acknowledgments:
RCES has numerous accomplishments to commemorate. Paula Langdale, a third-grade teacher, was honored as the Teacher of the Year at RCES. Lindsey Forche, the school nurse, was recognized as the Support Staff of the Year at RCES. Several coaches and educators secured grants to further their work with students. The school actively supported initiatives such as Relay For Life, Harvest Hope Food Bank, Harvest Hope Snack Packs, Jump Rope for Heart and Unified Schools Program.
The RCES Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) contributed significantly to numerous projects benefiting both students and teachers. Their support extended to events such as the Ranger Run, field day, fundraising drives, staff appreciation days, field trips, volunteer programs, and distribution of back-to-school supplies. PTO allocated funds to many resources to enhance our school. The dedication and hard work of these volunteers have greatly enriched the school community.
A special mention goes out to our School Improvement Council (SIC) for their vital role in planning schoolwide enhancements and enhancing communication between the SIC, RCES families, and the community. This year, the council concentrated on planning a Family Reading Night to promote the importance of reading outside of the school day. At the conclusion of the final SIC meeting, the team expressed gratitude to the RCES faculty, staff, and families for their commitment, resilience, and perseverance throughout the year.
RCES faculty and staff extend heartfelt appreciation to parents who generously volunteer their time to support our endeavors aimed at enhancing academic performance, social-emotional well-being, and the overall school environment.
