Fairfield County School District has 9 schools in all - five elementary, one middle, one high school, one career center and one alternative school that serve approximately 2300 students from 3 years old through 12th grade. Our academic program prepares students for college and career choices and enables them to compete with high school graduates nationwide for enrollment in a variety of programs at the most prestigious colleges and universities.
Technology has been incorporated into each classroom as Fairfield County School District offers a one-to-one computer initiative in grades K-12. Interactive white boards are being utilized throughout all classrooms as well as Google Chromebooks to reinforce skills, conduct research, and complete classroom assignments. Teachers can access various online applications and use a variety of software to enhance their lessons or create hands-on lessons.
Fairfield County School District recognizes it is equally important to educate the whole child and pride ourselves on the fact that we offer exceptional opportunities in technology, robotics, engineering, arts and athletics, where students can further develop their talents, strengths, responsibility, self-discipline, and perseverance in achieving personal goals. Administration along with all school employees and students work closely together to create a culture of continuous improvement in all areas.
