Williams Middle School is committed to providing students with a comprehensive foundation of knowledge and skills across the content areas that include extensive art and athletic programs that will propel them as they prepare for high school and college. Our commitment encompasses a focus on high-quality learning experiences and support for the social, emotional, and mental development of our students. Our International Baccalaureate Middle Years Program provides an opportunity for students to engage in a rigorous international curriculum that inspires intellectual inquisitiveness and a love of learning. Williams Middle School students received the Gold Award for national achievement on the 2022 National German Exam and received the two highest scores in the state of South Carolina. Students are exposed to a multitude of fields ranging from STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics) to foreign cultures. Williams students have the opportunity to enroll in courses such as Medical Detectives, Robotics, and Flight & Space through Project Lead the Way. Williams provides the opportunity for students to choose from several courses in the arts including Orchestra, Band, Dance, Art, Chorus, and Visual Arts. Students are also able to participate and serve the school community by joining a variety of clubs that include Dance, Beta Club, Student Council, and our award-winning Academic Challenge Team. We encourage students to turn their passions into purpose. Williams Middle School is proud to have a caring community of dedicated alumni, a thriving International Baccalaureate program, STEAM initiatives, competitive athletics, and dedicated teachers and staff. At Williams Middle School, we endeavor to create a student-centered environment for our future graduates as they strive for excellence and prepare to become innovative world leaders.
