Lewisville Middle School is a beautiful institute of learning that is on the move from great to world class achievers.  Located in the town of Richburg, SC, Lewisville Middle School is a part of the Chester County Public School System where we are preparing students to compete academically with their global counterparts and for the future work force.  We have top notch academic programs and more than twenty athletic and student clubs and activities to support the involvement of over 400 students in grades fifth through eighth.

In addition to the sixteen core content faculty members, Lewisville Middle School has five exploratory faculty members, full and part time counselors, a literacy coach, information technology specialist, school nurse, school safety officer, and over ten staff members that operate one of the best middle schools in the state of South Carolina. 

Lead by Principal Brian A. Edmond, Lewisville Middle School fosters the development of world-class leaders by enhancing students’ knowledge, life skills, and career characteristics to meet the guidelines of the Profile of the South Carolina Graduate.  Our school is helping all students develop these World Class Skills of the Profile of the South Carolina Graduate by meeting weekly to discuss students’ Measures of Academic Progress (MAP), Fountas & Pinnell (F&P), as well as Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS/RTI) data to improve classroom best practices and student achievement.  Faculty members also provide free tutoring and sponsor many student clubs and activities to enrich both academic and life learning skills.

Through support and partnerships with the community, Lewisville Middle School also thrives in its mission to help all students develop World Class Skills and knowledge to be college and career ready.  Our work with Boeing in Charleston, SC and Giti Tire in Richburg, SC, exposes our students to activities, projects, and onsite experiences that promote creativity and innovation, critical thinking and problem solving, collaboration and teamwork, communication, information, media, and technology, and knowing how to merge those skills into our daily curriculum.
