Waccamaw High School faced continued challenges in the 2021-2022 school year with COVID restrictions and different modalities of instruction. The teachers, students, and parents continued to work together to create the best learning environment for remote, hybrid, prime, and virtual instruction. Despite the challenges, the Warriors continued to thrive in and out of the classroom! Waccamaw High School is a Red Carpet Award winner and won the prestigious Palmetto's Finest Award in 2008. Furthermore, Waccamaw High School's award winning student council was named State Student Council of the Year for a seventeenth consecutive year in the spring of 2022. Finally, an outstanding 91% of our students met all state requirements for a high school diploma in 2021-2022.
