Stiles Point Elementary School fosters the development of the world-class skills showcased in the Profile of the South Carolina Graduate by identifying and supporting each student’s academic strengths and growth opportunities to ensure that each student reaches their full potential.
At Stiles Point we strive to create an environment in which students are cherished and challenged, and the wonder of childhood is celebrated! Our curriculum, instructional practices, and support/extension programs are all designed to enhance student success. With an emphasis on problem-solving, critical thinking, and fostering collaborative, and creative participation, our special area and grade-level classroom teachers partner throughout the school year to facilitate cross-curricular learning experiences in an interactive learning environment. The commitment of our staff to support each student is central to their achievement.
Our staff members focus on building a productive rapport with stakeholders and rely on these relationships to actively practice collaborative decision making which ensures that all voices are heard. Teacher and staff relationships with students and their families, and family involvement in curricular activities, student celebrations, the MTSS process, as well as with our peripheral service providers, are all essential to ensure that each student and family feels a strong partnership and connection with our school.
Teachers and staff members work together to create a vibrant Professional Learning Community characterized by collective inquiry, collaborative teams, action orientation, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Stiles Point is dedicated to offering students a rich elementary school learning experience and is proud of the dedication of and the strong partnership between our teachers, staff, parents, and community.
