The schools in Bamberg School District One are fortunate to have such strong support from the Bamberg-Ehrhardt community, especially during the COVID-19 Pandemic. Being the only high school in our district, Bamberg-Ehrhardt High School welcomes the community’s support in the quest to equip students with the knowledge and skills needed to meet the expectations and demands placed on the modern graduate. We offer and challenge our students with a rigorous academic program that includes College Prep, Dual Enrollment and CATE completer courses. On the instructional level, "Student Learning Objectives" were developed by each teacher to establish goals and target student growth. We constantly strive to improve our graduation rate, student attendance and End-of-Course test scores. The School-to-Work and the "High Schools that Work" programs continue as vital parts of our school program. Also of importance, the faculty and staff of BEHS are fully certified in all academic areas and received approval status from the South Carolina Department of Education.
To develop well-rounded individuals and leaders, we encourage students to participate in extracurricular activities throughout the year. BEHS experiences success in our athletic programs, band program, and many other organizations with many teams an individual students excelling at the highest state levels. Our Student Government, FBLA and FCCLA organizations, along with many other organizations annually produce students who are recognized at district and state competitions.
The Bamberg-Ehrhardt High School faculty and staff, with strong community support, are committed to providing each student with a solid foundation to be successful in life.
