At Clover High School, we believe every student deserves the opportunity to discover their passions, reach their potential, and graduate prepared to thrive in an ever-changing world. Guided by the Profile of the South Carolina Graduate, we intentionally develop students who are academically prepared, career ready, and equipped with the character, resilience, and leadership skills needed for success beyond high school.
What truly sets Clover High School apart is our people. Supported by a community that deeply values education, our dedicated faculty and staff create a culture where students are known, challenged, and inspired. We believe there is a place for everyone in Blue Eagle Nation, and every student is encouraged to find opportunities that spark curiosity, build confidence, and create lifelong memories.
Whether students are leading community service initiatives through Interact Club, producing our nationally recognized yearbook, competing with our award-winning academic teams, or serving in one of the largest and most distinguished JROTC programs on the East Coast, there is no shortage of ways to become involved, develop leadership skills, and make a meaningful impact.
Academic excellence is the cornerstone of the Clover High School experience. Our exceptional educators provide rigorous, engaging instruction while ensuring every student receives the support needed to succeed. Clover High School consistently performs above state averages on key academic measures and maintains a graduation rate exceeding 92 percent. Students benefit from personalized learning experiences, an extensive selection of Advanced Placement courses, and dual enrollment opportunities through York Technical College and the University of South Carolina Union, allowing them to earn college credit while still in high school.
Learning extends far beyond the classroom. Through our Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS), dedicated intervention and enrichment time, student-centered instruction, and continuous professional learning for teachers, we ensure every student has opportunities to grow academically. A wide variety of clubs, organizations, and academic competitions further enrich the educational experience, allowing students to apply their learning, explore new interests, and develop valuable life skills.
Our Career and Technology Education (CATE) programs prepare students for tomorrow's workforce through authentic, hands-on experiences in high-demand career fields. Students have opportunities to earn industry-recognized certifications in healthcare, culinary arts, automotive technology, information technology, engineering, and more. These experiences are enhanced through nationally recognized student organizations including FCCLA, SkillsUSA, HOSA, DECA, and FFA, where Clover students consistently earn honors at the state and national levels. Our CATE completer and certification rates continue to reach record highs, reflecting the strength and innovation of our programs.
The arts flourish at Clover High School, where creativity and performance are celebrated every day. From inspiring theatrical productions and award-winning visual arts to exceptional dance and choral performances, our Fine Arts programs provide students countless opportunities to showcase their talents. Our nationally acclaimed Blue Eagle Band continues to set the standard for excellence, recently representing South Carolina in the prestigious Rose Parade in Pasadena—the first South Carolina high school band selected to participate in nearly two decades. Our outstanding choral program likewise performs at a level comparable to many collegiate ensembles, earning accolades throughout the region and state.
Blue Eagle pride extends to athletic competition, where excellence is matched by outstanding facilities and a tradition of success. Clover High School student-athletes compete at the highest levels while developing teamwork, perseverance, and leadership. This year marked one of the most successful athletic seasons in school history, highlighted by state championships in Girls Cross Country, Boys Wrestling, and Boys Soccer, along with numerous individual state champions, including a track athlete who established new state records. Success extends beyond traditional athletics as well, with championship performances in bass fishing and clay target sports. We are equally proud of our nationally recognized Special Olympics program and our distinction as a South Carolina Banner Unified Champion School, demonstrating our commitment to inclusion and opportunity for all students.
The success of Clover High School is built upon the collective dedication of our students, educators, families, and community partners. Together, we cultivate a culture of excellence, innovation, service, and belonging. Every classroom, stage, field, studio, and organization contributes to an environment where students are encouraged to dream boldly, work hard, and become the very best version of themselves.
At Clover High School, students don't just earn a diploma—they discover their purpose, build lifelong relationships, and prepare for a future filled with unlimited possibilities.
Once a Blue Eagle, Always a Blue Eagle.
