Our students continue to SOAR and demonstrate excellence in a variety of areas. For the 2025–2026 school year, thirteen students were inducted into the National Junior Honor Society. Additionally, 103 students took part in International Walk to School Day, promoting healthy habits that support wellness, productivity, and future readiness. Nine students were honored by the Sumter Chamber of Commerce at the Golden Apple Awards for demonstrating outstanding character traits such as integrity, determination, leadership, and honesty. We also celebrate our outstanding educators. Mrs. Tampla Hearrell was named our 2024–2025 Teacher of the Year, and we are proud to recognize Ms. Brenetta Jefferson as our 2025–2026 Teacher of the Year.
