McCracken Middle School is dedicated to helping all students develop the World Class Skills of the Profile of the South Carolina Graduate by providing personalized learning opportunities through rigorous academics, collaborative instruction, meaningful student-teacher relationships, and enrichment experiences that promote both academic growth and future readiness.
This school year was marked by consistent progress and achievement. Our students engaged in a variety of hands-on learning opportunities that encouraged critical thinking, collaboration, and problem-solving. These learning experiences, both inside and outside the classroom, supported the development of well-rounded learners prepared for high school and beyond.
We continued to strengthen our school community through a growing partnership with our outstanding PTO. Their support for students and staff helped create a culture of appreciation and belonging. Our families contributed meaningfully throughout the year, reinforcing the strong connection between home and school that is essential to student success.
Academically, our students showed measurable growth and worked diligently toward their individual goals. Celebrating progress and fostering a growth mindset were central to our approach, and the gains made this year reflect the commitment of both students and staff to excellence in learning.
Our fine arts and athletic programs also experienced a successful year, contributing to a vibrant and engaging school culture. Students demonstrated their talents, discipline, and teamwork across a range of extracurricular opportunities, and their accomplishments reflected the pride and spirit of McCracken Middle School.
We are deeply thankful to our exceptional staff, dedicated families, and supportive district leadership. The success of this school year is a reflection of the collective efforts of our entire school community. It is a privilege to work in a district that values students, supports educators, and champions growth and achievement at every level.
With Eagle Pride,
Telena Woody, Principal
