T. E. Mabry Middle School is helping all students develop the world class skills and life and career characteristics that embody the Profile of a South Carolina Graduate by continuing to provide a quality, student-centered education. T.E. Mabry Middle School’s mission is “Count on Me” to make a positive impact through teaching and learning. T. E. Mabry Middle School was named a South Carolina School to Watch in 2011. As a School to Watch, we continue to implement a development framework that focuses on social equity, developmental responsiveness, academic excellence, and organizational structures and processes. T. E. Mabry Middle School was named a National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence in 2015.  T. E. Mabry Middle School is the recipient of the Arts in Basic Curriculum Grant. As an Arts in Basic Curriculum school, T.E. Mabry prides itself on integrating the visual and performance arts across content areas while also having nearly 50% of the student body involved in a year long visual and/or performing art course. This year, our Band, Chorus, and Orchestra programs received superior and excellent ratings at their annual Concert Performance Assessment. This year, T. E. Mabry will offer several classes such as Geometry, English I, Fundamentals of Computing, and Art I for high school credit to its  eighth grade students. We continue to have a successful Junior Beta Club with numerous students involved. Our athletic teams had a great year, with record numbers of students participating. T.E. Mabry continues to addressing the overall social and emotional learning needs of students. T. E. Mabry Middle School is very grateful to the SIC for the support each group provided throughout the year. Our goals continue to be the academic success of all students and to ensure they are college and career ready.
