Greer Middle School is committed to helping students develop the world-class skills outlined in the Profile of the South Carolina Graduate by providing rigorous academic opportunities, meaningful extracurricular experiences, and a supportive, inclusive learning environment. During the 2025–2026 school year, 115 students earned high school credit through English I, Geometry, and Spanish I, demonstrating our commitment to academic excellence and college and career readiness.
Students have opportunities to build leadership, collaboration, creativity, and communication skills through participation in athletics, visual and performing arts, Student Council, Beta Club, Boys' and Girls' clubs, and high school athletic programs. Our Band, Strings, and Chorus programs earned Superior and Excellent ratings, reflecting students' dedication and achievement in the arts. This year, Greer Middle School was also designated as a Fully Implemented Unified School in recognition of our successful implementation of Unified Sports, inclusive youth leadership opportunities, and whole-school engagement that promotes belonging, respect, and inclusion for all students.
Greer Middle School values strong partnerships with families and the community through events such as Open House, grade-level orientations, PTSA activities, performances, and other school events that encourage parent involvement. With highly qualified educators who continually pursue professional growth, a safe and welcoming school climate, and a focus on high expectations and continuous improvement, Greer Middle School empowers students to become independent, productive learners who are prepared for success in high school, college, and their future careers.
