At Clover High School, we are committed to developing the world-class skills and life and career characteristics outlined in the Profile of the South Carolina Graduate. We recognize that today’s graduates must be more well-rounded, adaptable, and prepared than ever before. With strong support from our community, one that values and understands the vital role of education, Clover High School is proud to cultivate an environment where every student can thrive.
In an era where success demands both rigorous academic preparation and essential life skills, Clover High School focuses on educating the whole child. Our school culture promotes the belief that there is something for everyone at Clover High School. Whether students are leading service projects in the Interact Club, producing our award-winning yearbook, or participating in our nationally acclaimed and largest ROTC program on the East Coast, opportunities to engage and grow abound in Blue Eagle Nation.
Our outstanding faculty drive student success through top-tier instruction and a wide range of academic offerings. This past year, Clover High School maintained a graduation rate exceeding 94%, and we performed above the state average across all instructional metrics. We credit this success in part to the breadth and depth of our academic programs, including our robust Middle College initiative, a diverse catalog of Advanced Placement courses, and multiple dual-enrollment partnerships with York Technical College and the University of South Carolina–Union. Beyond the classroom, students can participate in a wide variety of clubs and organizations that deepen their academic experience and reinforce classroom learning. Our emphasis on MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports) and student-centered teaching continues to yield positive academic outcomes.
Our Career and Technology Education (CATE) programs provide students with real-world, hands-on experiences in high-demand fields. Students can earn professional certifications in healthcare, culinary arts, auto technology, information technology, and more. These courses are often complemented by involvement in high-achieving student organizations such as FCCLA, SkillsUSA, HOSA, DECA, and FFA. These groups have earned accolades at both state and national levels, and our CATE completer and certification rates are at an all-time high, a testament to the strength and continued growth of our programs.
The arts are alive and thriving at Clover High School. The Clover School District Auditorium is frequently filled with audiences attending performances by our exceptional Fine Arts programs. From our drama department’s professional-quality productions to the creativity on display in our art and dance studios, students shine across disciplines. Our award-winning marching band had another stellar season, with the drum line earning a repeat trip to the World Championship finals and setting national records. Likewise, our choral program continues to perform at a level rivaling both high school and collegiate ensembles.
Athletics are another area of great pride at Clover High School. Our student-athletes benefit from some of the finest facilities in the state and continue to excel at all levels of competition. This year, our teams earned championships at the region, district, and state levels—including a second consecutive 5A state title in girls’ individual wrestling. Students also made waves in less traditional arenas, earning top honors as part of our state champion bass fishing and clay target teams. We are also incredibly proud of our Special Olympics program, which continues to shine as we represent South Carolina as a Banner Unified Champion School.
Clover High School’s success is a reflection of the dedication and collaboration of our students, staff, families, and community. We are a school that celebrates excellence, values inclusion and diversity, nurtures partnerships, and fosters both academic and personal growth. At Clover High School, we are preparing students not only for graduation—but for life.
