A.C. Flora High School is helping all students develop the World Class Skills of the Profile of the South Carolina Graduate by providing diverse academic, artistic, and athletic opportunities. In the 2025–2026 school year, students continued to build World-Class Knowledge through varied and rigorous academic and creative course and program offerings. The Advanced Placement course offerings continue to move students toward college and career readiness. This year, our students took 531 AP exams. The International Baccalaureate Programme also continues to prepare students to be global citizens and critical thinkers. This year, 66 students took 528 assessments for the IB Diploma Programme. As of April 2026, Flora is proud to announce two National Merit Semifinalists, one National Merit recipient, and 92 Richland One High School Scholars. The senior class has earned over $30 million in scholarships, and graduates will attend top universities nationwide.
Our commitment to World-Class Knowledge extends beyond academics, as evidenced by the tremendous efforts and accomplishments of the arts programs at A.C. Flora. The theatre, dance, and music departments have each presented at least two concerts during the 2025–2026 school year, showcasing the diverse talents of our students. The arts departments have presented individually and collaboratively, ensuring various opportunities for participation. Numerous students have been accepted into the district honor choir, district honor dance, district honor band, district honor orchestra, all-state band, and all-state orchestra, demonstrating their dedication and talent. To further celebrate the arts, A.C. Flora held a Spring Arts Signing Day to recognize students who will continue to pursue artistic fields in college.
Students at A.C. Flora High School demonstrate the Life and Career Characteristics of the Profile of the South Carolina Graduate by excelling in perseverance and integrity. As a result, our sports teams had an outstanding year. The girls soccer, baseball, boys tennis, and competitive cheerleading teams won SC State Championships in their respective sports. Athletes in swimming and track and field earned individual state championships this year. Additionally, other sports teams won regional championships, and numerous all-state and all-region athletes were recognized across our athletic programs.
The 2025–2026 school year has been another excellent year for A.C. Flora. Our students have excelled in academics, arts, and athletics, showcasing the diverse talents and dedication of our school community. A.C. Flora is soaring, and we are proud of our Falcons!
