During the 2024–2025 school year, Greenville High Academy continued its commitment to developing the world-class skills and life and career characteristics outlined in the Profile of the South Carolina Graduate. Through our specialized magnet program in Law, Finance, and Business, students engaged in a unique, rigorous curriculum designed to prepare them for success in college, careers, and community leadership. Our dedicated faculty remained focused on continuous professional growth, supporting a shared vision of academic achievement and lifelong learning.
Students explored a wide range of topics through courses that deepened their understanding of the legal system, financial literacy, and business operations. These academic experiences were enhanced by strong community partnerships. The Law Enforcement Career course, taught by a former officer, provided real-world insight into the field. Additionally, students operated a fully functional branch of the Greenville Federal Credit Union, earning course credit and gaining valuable hands-on experience in financial services.
Throughout the year, Greenville High students achieved significant success both individually and collectively. Several band and orchestra members were selected for All-Region, All-County, and All-State ensembles. Our athletic teams not only competed at high levels but also maintained an impressive overall athletic GPA of 4.47. The Pep Club, Raider Pride, energized the student body by organizing spirited pep rallies and homecoming events.
A major highlight of the 2024–2025 school year was our school-wide partnership with the Greenville Medical Free Clinic. Students participated in service initiatives that included fundraising, volunteering, and community outreach—demonstrating a strong commitment to public service and civic engagement and raising over $500,000.00 in just one week.
We also made strides in strengthening our Freshman Academy and expanding the integration of technology throughout our classrooms, further equipping students with the tools needed for success in today’s ever-evolving world.
