Carolina High School and Academy is dedicated to serving our students, families, and community by providing the highest quality educational experience. Our vision at Carolina High School is to see all students graduating with the knowledge, skills, experiences, and attributes to achieve success beyond high school.
We strive for continuous improvement at Carolina High School, driven by our school’s leadership team, faculty and staff, parents, and community. Together, we implement strategies to achieve our goals in academic achievement, college and career readiness, and graduation rate. Some of the efforts we have introduced to support our students include our Trojan Time after-school tutoring program, Carolina Early College pathway, expanded summer school opportunities, OnTrack Greenville supports, Communities In Schools facilitators, tiered counseling, and mentoring services for all students. Our work in Professional Learning Communities has also earned us recognition as a Solution Tree Promising Practice School for 2025.
Carolina High works to foster a welcoming climate and culture within the school. Students experience daily engagement, affirmation, and respect through personal relationships with teachers and peers. These connections cultivate a culture of collaboration and mutual respect within the school and classroom. Our growth in academics and school culture have collectively helped improve our South Carolina Report Card rating for the 2024-2025 school year!
As we prepare all students to be college and career-ready, our focus on rigor develops graduates with the highest levels of academic readiness. Students are encouraged to demonstrate college readiness by enrolling in Honors, Dual Enrollment, and Advanced Placement courses. In addition to academics, we cultivate well-rounded students through our excellent co-curricular and extra-curricular opportunities. We take pride in our marching band, concert band, choir, theater, and visual arts programs. Students also develop leadership skills through opportunities in Student Council, Student Government, National Honor Society, Beta Club, and Air Force Junior ROTC. Our growing athletics program engages many students, providing further opportunities for growth and achievement.
Some of the most valuable opportunities we offer our students lie in the field of Career and Technology Education. We are proud to be a Greenville County Magnet School, offering majors in Health Professions and Engineering. These programs prepare students to be future leaders in medicine and engineering. Additionally, we provide additional Career Pathways in Health Science, Business, Marketing, and Sports Medicine. A wide range of high-skill, high-demand Career and Technology Courses are available for our students at the Enoree Career Center. These efforts resulted in Carolina High School achieving the highest growth in College and Career Readiness in the Greenville County School District.
Looking ahead to the 2025-2026 school year and beyond, Carolina High School remains committed to continuous improvement. We celebrate our past successes and remain dedicated to improving to better serve our students and school community. Through our collective efforts, we will ensure that every student becomes a college and career-ready graduate!
