At Riverview Elementary, our mission—All Learn, All Grow, All Belong... All Students. All Staff. All Families.—continues to guide our work each and every day. We remain committed to creating a school culture where every student is nurtured academically, socially, and emotionally. Our efforts are aligned with the Profile of the South Carolina Graduate, as we focus on developing students with world-class knowledge, skills, and character.
During the 2024–2025 school year, Riverview deepened its work as a Professional Learning Community (PLC). Teachers collaborated weekly to analyze data, reflect on student progress, and plan purposeful instruction that meets the needs of all learners in our Tier 1 instruction. Our instructional approach is grounded in the use of data-driven decision making and Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) to ensure both academic growth and social-emotional development for every child.
We take pride in building strong, trusting relationships with our students, families, and community partners. Our PTO, School Improvement Council, and dedicated volunteers continue to be instrumental in supporting school-wide initiatives, student celebrations, and family engagement events. We believe that learning is most powerful when the entire school community works together in service of students.
Our staff is committed to ongoing professional development and continuous growth, always striving to elevate their craft and ensure high levels of learning for all. The 2024–2025 school year was a year of connection, collaboration, and celebration. We are proud of the progress we’ve made and excited for the path ahead. At Riverview Elementary, we remain steadfast in our belief that All Learn, All Grow, and All Belong—and that belief shapes the future we are building together.
