Ebinport Elementary is the proud home of the Eagles, where legacy and tradition are celebrated and passed from one generation to the next. Founded in 1949, Ebinport continues to serve as a pillar of the Rock Hill community. Many families have entrusted us with multiple generations of students who have each experienced the heart of what we call the “Ebinport Way.”
At Ebinport, we recognize that school is a safe haven for many students. That sense of refuge is created through intentional relationships, by knowing each child deeply and treating them as individuals with their own thoughts, feelings, and aspirations. We embrace productive struggle as part of the learning journey, helping students build resilience, independence, and the competencies outlined in the Profile of the South Carolina Graduate.
Walking through the doors of Ebinport, you’ll find a vibrant, diverse school community where students of various backgrounds, races, ethnicities, religions, and cultures come together as one family. Our Eagles hold high expectations for themselves and one another, all while showing kindness, empathy, and respect. At Ebinport, we cultivate not only strong academic skills but also character, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning.
In 2026–27, Ebinport will continue as a designated Title I school. Our success is grounded in the strength of our master teachers at every grade level. These educators are trained in the Science of Reading and committed to ensuring that foundational literacy skills acquired in the early grades are applied with rigor and purpose across all content areas. Our Reading and Math Coaches provide weekly, job-embedded professional learning to build instructional capacity and support student growth. Ongoing professional development continues to emphasize high-leverage practices and instructional equity to meet the diverse needs of our learners.
We know that strong family partnerships are essential. Over the past several years, we have strengthened our communication efforts and will continue to prioritize meaningful engagement with all stakeholders. Our staff remains dedicated to sharing Ebinport’s story through multiple platforms, ensuring our community sees the incredible learning, leadership, and opportunities happening every day.
Ebinport thrives because of the unwavering support of our families, community partners, and dedicated staff. We are a school where students love to learn and teachers love to teach because everyone is committed to doing what’s best for children.
We welcome you to Ebinport, where tradition is honored, excellence is pursued, and every eagle soars.
