Welcome to Pacolet Elementary School!
Our school continues to support all students as they develop the World Class Skills of the Profile of the South Carolina Graduate. It is my absolute pleasure serving you and your children during the 2024-2025 school year! As the principal of Pacolet Elementary, I am thrilled to continue building relationships with our wonderful students and partnering with our dedicated staff to support and serve your family. It has been an incredible year at Pacolet, and I am confident that the 2025–2026 school year will be even more exciting and rewarding.
I will continue to bring both enthusiasm and a deep commitment to student success. I am a proud graduate of Winthrop University and earned my master's degree from Converse College in administration and supervision. My teaching background spans both Special Education and Elementary Education, and I’ve had the privilege of serving as an assistant principal and principal for the past 22 years. I’m grateful for the opportunity to lead at Pacolet and to positively contribute to this vibrant community.
At Pacolet Elementary, we believe strong home-school communication is essential to student achievement. Your support in this partnership is truly appreciated. To keep you informed, our teachers will communicate with you weekly, and the administration will share a monthly parent newsletter—The Panther Press—which includes important updates, upcoming events, and tips to support your child’s learning at home.
I encourage you to be actively involved in your child’s education. Throughout the year, we’ll offer numerous opportunities for you to connect with and engage in our school community.
Our school has a partnership with SAM. Our students have access to a wide range of enriching programs, including Panther Patrol, Singing Panthers, Fine Arts Night, student performances, the Terrific Kid program, Girls on the Run, Strengthening Families, Healthy Eating classes for families, Behavioral Strategy workshops for parents, Financial Literacy classes, dental care services, and the Big Brother Program. We are also proud to see continued growth in the number of students qualifying for our ATLAS program for gifted and talented learners.
Our faculty and staff are among the very best. Each week, we collaborate to unpack academic standards, plan meaningful lessons, create effective assessments, and analyze data to make informed decisions that support every child’s success.
Pacolet Elementary is widely recognized for its caring and nurturing environment, and I am dedicated to upholding and strengthening that tradition. Together, we will continue to foster a culture of high expectations, mutual respect, and strong, meaningful relationships.
It is both an honor and a privilege to serve as principal of Pacolet Elementary School. Thank you for entrusting us with your child’s education. I look forward to a fantastic year ahead!
