Instruction is differentiated to meet the diverse needs of our students, and classrooms are designed to foster engagement, relevance, and real-world application of knowledge and skills.
At the core of our academic approach is the belief that every child can succeed. Our teachers participate in continuous professional development and engage in Teaching and Learning Teams (TLTs) to unpack standards, design clear learning targets and success criteria, and develop common formative assessments. These practices drive targeted instruction and allow for responsive adjustments based on student performance data. Grade-level teams collaborate regularly to calibrate student work and ensure consistent academic progress across classrooms.

Enrichment opportunities—including Terrific Kids, GT Art, SRE Singers, Panda Partners, and Positive Pandas—support the development of leadership, creativity, and character.
Technology integration is a key component of our instructional model. Students in grades K–5 utilize iPads to support personalized learning, independent practice, and collaborative projects. Tools such as iReady provide actionable data aligned with state standards, empowering students to set and achieve academic goals. In addition to core instruction, we provide targeted interventions in literacy and math, and implement schoolwide frameworks such as Response to Intervention (RTI) and Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) to ensure academic and behavioral success.
Family and community engagement is central to our mission. We maintain transparent and consistent communication through newsletters, school-wide messages, SeeSaw, social media platforms, and a digital message board. Events such as our Veterans Day Program and Awards Days serve to strengthen school-community connections and highlight student accomplishments.
