Sullivan Middle School is a Middle Years Programme International Baccalaureate (IB) World School in Rock Hill School District 3. In addition to IB, we offer a language immersion program in Spanish and French. Our school provides all students with a safe learning environment, rigorous academic work, and diverse extra and co-curricular learning opportunities. We pride ourselves on delivering an education that goes far beyond academics, as we are preparing our students to compete in a rapidly global environment.
Our students are inquirers, and they learn and develop the characteristics of the Profile of the South Carolina Graduate. Through the IB Learner profile, Sullivan students are caring, reflective, principled, communicators, inquirers, open-minded, risk-takers, knowledgeable, thinkers, and balanced. Also, our students participate in community service projects through the IB Project, Beta Club, and Junior Civitans. Through action-service projects. students are encouraged to think globally and act locally.
Sullivan students are celebrated monthly through our Falcon Awards which highlights exceptional students and honoring IB traits. In addition, our PBIS program (Falcons SOAR) promotes and awards students making a positive school impact. Programs, such as the Kappa League and Sisters' SOAR program, mentor and support students' academic, behavior, and social-emotional growth.

Sullivan has an active School Improvement Council (SIC) and Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO). Our SIC and PTO continuously work together to maximize our community partnerships, implement programs that support our teachers, and create opportunities for all students to advance their academic performance and socio-emotional wellbeing. Sullivan Middle School engages all stakeholders to promote a school culture built on high expectations, continuous improvement, and empathy.
