Fairfield Middle School is helping all students develop the World Class Skills and the Life and Career Characteristics of the Profile of the South Carolina Graduate by providing a safe, caring, and academically challenging learning environment. At Fairfield Middle School, it is our mission to prepare our students for success once they transition into high school, college, and careers by developing and enhancing their social, emotional, and academic skills.

Student Achievements and Competitions:

• FMS students participated in the Amazing Shake Competition, demonstrating their outstanding interpersonal skills and poise.
• At the South Carolina Junior Beta Club Convention, FMS students placed in the Top 5, showcasing their academic excellence and competitive spirit.
• Our students not only participated in the Edmentum Challenge but also emerged victorious, highlighting their dedication and mastery of academic content.

School Programs and Initiatives:

• FMS hosted a heartwarming Grandparent’s Day program, fostering community bonds and celebrating the vital role of grandparents in our students' lives.
• We continued to implement the AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) program, which plays a crucial role in preparing students for college readiness and success.
• The STEM Early College Academy program was also actively implemented, providing students with advanced opportunities in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

Community Engagement and Events:

• FMS hosted Curriculum Night, inviting the community and stakeholders to engage with and understand our educational programs and initiatives.
• Our Academic Challenge team achieved remarkable success by placing second in the region, reflecting the hard work and intellectual prowess of our students.

Athletic Success:

• The FMS Football team had an extraordinary season, winning the regional championship and remaining undefeated, exemplifying teamwork, perseverance, and athletic excellence.
