Paul Knox Middle School is helping all students develop the World Class Skills of the Profile of the South Carolina Graduate by providing a safe, caring, and academically challenging learning environment focused on critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and creativity. At Paul Knox Middle School students follow the Patriot Path to High School Readiness with a robust academic experience within our thematic school of science with a focus on science and technology. As Aiken County continues to grow and become the global hub for Cyber Technology, medical, and nuclear industries, we strive to provide our students with authentic experiences to foster interest in growing economies.
At Paul Knox, we support growth in science and technology through coursework and extracurricular opportunities. We have an active Cyber Patriots team, Design and Engineering Club, and a Girls Who Game club. Additionally, we provide students with exposure to the sciences, technologies, and arts through extensive offerings in our exploratory courses. All instruction at Paul Knox Middle School is delivered through a one-to-one format which increases students' technological abilities. We offer art, STEM, gardening, chorus, guitar, orchestra, and band in addition to a number of remediation courses and PE/ health. As we strive to provide a world-class education to all of our students, the majority of Paul Knox students are encouraged to take a high school credit course before they leave Paul Knox Middle School. For the 2023-2024 school year we offered Art 1, Fundamentals of Computing, Algebra 1, Geometry, English 1, and Spanish.
We are excited to continue our academic evolution and our partnerships with local industry and community. Please feel free to contact the school at any time with questions or comments. Paul Knox is a school pursuing excellence every day.
