Opportunities abound in Blue Eagle Nation and we are proud of the offerings we provide our students in the arenas of academics, career and technology education, fine arts and athletics.
The many recognitions touted by Clover High School are a direct result of the top-notch instruction provided by our outstanding faculty. Clover High School had an amazing year in the classroom. Our graduation rate continues to exceed 93% and we are above the state average in all instructional metrics. A portion of our success can be attributed to our diversity of opportunities. We are proud to offer a Middle College program, a multitude of AP offerings and multiple Dual Enrollment offerings through partnerships with York Technical College and the University of South Carolina in Union. Our teachers provide a variety of outside the classroom clubs and organizations that reinforce lessons learned in the class and provide our students a chance to go deeper into the curriculum.
Our Career and Education courses provide students with the opportunity to dig deeper into courses that can parlay knowledge and experience directly into the real world. Students can earn multiple professional certifications in areas such as healthcare, culinary arts, auto-technology, I.T. and more. These courses are often partnered with clubs that have enjoyed a lot of success here at Clover High School. Clubs like FCCLA, SkillsUSA, HOSA, DECA and FFA can be found all around the state and nation winning awards and having students named to a variety of offices. Our completer and certification numbers have never been higher and we continue to add programs to our already robust list of offerings.
The Clover School District Auditorium is often a packed house when Clover High School Fine Arts programs are in action. Our drama program consistently puts on professional grade performances and the work created in our art and dance studios is second to none. Our marching band completed another an amazing season. Our Drum Line repeated as World Champion finalists, setting multiple national records along the way. Our choral program rivals any at the high school or college level.
Clover High School has a lot to be proud of when it comes to athletics. Boasting some of the finest facilities in the state, we have won multiple national awards for the condition of our fields. Our students have won multiple region and state awards and many have gone on to play sports at the next level. This school year saw championships at the region, district and state levels, including a win at the 5A State Championship for Girls Soccer! Students got outside by participating on our state championship BASS fishing team and State Champion Clay Target Team. And it has been another amazing year for our Special Olympians as we proudly wave the flag as a Banner Unified Champion School.
