Mullins High School is helping all students develop the world class skills of the Profile of the South Carolina Graduate by creating an environment that is conducive to learning, and builds the appropriate relationships to foster academic and social growth ensuring that all students are college and career ready. Being a Mullins Auctioneer is a privilege and an honor. It carries with it a great responsibility, dedication, and commitment to something greater than one's self. That "something" is the family.
The 2023-2024 term began by cultivating the school's climate for the purpose of providing structures and systems. Our students responded well and infractions decreased leaving room for growth in academics. The instructional leadership team, along with teachers collaborated and planned to create innovative lessons for all students. We witnessed an increase in our Early College and Dual Enrollment programs while partnering with Florence-Darlington Technical College. Students had other opportunities to further explore real-life experiences through extracurricular activities and clubs.
The graduating class of 2024 earned approximately $2,012,550 in scholarships. Four students graduated with an Associates Degree from our Early College Program, making this the 3rd class to do so. More on a local scale, our Academy for Careers and Technology provides vast opportunities of certifications in the following areas: EPA Auto Body Regulations, SP/2, ASE Auto Collision and Auto Technology, SC Cosmetology License, CPR/First Aid, ProStart, ServeSafe, ServeSafe Mangager, and Practical Nursing NCLEX Exam just to name a few. Thirty students have already received their completers' licensures before even graduating high school.
Mullins High School is a learning community in which all stakeholders work together to establish an environment that is safe, welcoming, and conducive to unlocking the potentials and talents of our young ones. They will in turn use their strengths to enhance future endeavors in this very changing global society.
