Through the combined efforts of our faculty, staff, student body, and school community, Pendleton High School enjoyed an incredible year both inside and outside of the classroom. It is our belief that this emphasis on community and collaboration allows Pendleton High School to fully prepare all of our students for their next steps, whatever step that may be.
Our school has much to be proud of. At Pendleton High School, we strive to prepare our students to be successful in the future. We produce college and career ready graduates by emphasizing rigor schoolwide and challenging students to push themselves through enrollment in honors, dual credit, and Advanced Placement courses. By concentrating on these initiatives, the faculty and staff of Pendleton High School are actively working to ensure that all of our students are meeting the Profile of the South Carolina Graduate.
We are proud of our students’ continued academic excellence and achievements. The class of 2024 consisted of 212 graduates, securing our highest graduation rate ever. Fifteen graduates qualified for the prestigious Palmetto Fellows Scholarship, and 140 qualified for Life Scholarships. Many students excelled in CTE as well, with 59 of our seniors achieving CTE completer status.
We also strive for success in our athletic and extracurricular programs. The Bulldogs continued to find success on the playing field and in the classroom. Numerous Pendleton athletes were named to All-Region and All-State teams, while The Pride of Pendleton Marching Band furthered its tradition of excellence, winning the 2A State Championship for the fifth consecutive year. Our CTE programs continue to thrive. Pendleton’s FFA extended its distinguished history, winning multiple state titles and even a national championship. One student qualified for the FCCLA nationals based on their performance at the state level. Our students have also earned professional certifications in fields like Health Science, Firefighting, EMS, and Automotive Technology. Gaining these credentials helps ensure that our graduates are college and career ready.
As we embark on another school year, it is our continued hope that the commitment our faculty, staff, and community have made to providing a world-class education will further grow the pride felt by all Bulldogs, past, present, and future.
