Silver Bluff High School has established a comprehensive instructional program to ensure that all students graduate prepared for college and/or career success. We are dedicated to equipping our students with the world-class knowledge and skills outlined in the Profile of the South Carolina Graduate.
In the 2023-24 school year, we continued to implement iLead, a values-based curriculum by John Maxwell that emphasizes leadership development. This program is designed to equip our students with essential leadership skills. We are dedicated to nurturing leaders who will effect meaningful, positive change both within and beyond our school community.
We continuously offer opportunities for students to explore and enhance their 21st-century skills. Responding to student interests and feedback, we regularly introduce new courses. Our school's connection to the arts industry further enriches our students' educational experience, allowing them to express their creativity and collaborate on artistic projects. Our fine arts program has seen significant growth in recent years, reflected in increasing student enrollment.
Our instructional focus at Silver Bluff High School remains steadfast. For the 2023-2024 school year, our faculty has concentrated on enhancing student engagement. We employed the ELEOT observation tool by Cognia to evaluate and measure this focus throughout the year. We believe this approach will advance our mission and enable us to provide graduates with the world-class skills necessary for college and career readiness, facilitating their transition to post-secondary success.
