Our Teaching and Learning Teams (TLTs) play a pivotal role in driving student achievement. Through weekly data-driven meetings and common formative assessments, teachers gain a deep understanding of curriculum standards and tailor instruction to meet the diverse needs of all students. Differentiated instruction is a cornerstone of our teaching approach, supported by personalized learning tools and adaptive software, alongside proven pedagogical practices such as guided instruction, Response to Intervention (RtI), and Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS).
Critical to our success is our unwavering belief that all students can achieve at high levels, and our TLTs work tirelessly to ensure that every student receives the support they need to thrive. Utilizing the CFG digital data wall, we have real-time access to student data, allowing us to tailor interventions and create an inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued and supported.
Technology is seamlessly integrated into our instructional framework, with one-to-one devices provided for all students from kindergarten to fifth grade. This integration enables us to meet the individual needs of each student, providing a rigorous curriculum and personalized teaching strategies supported by a comprehensive system of academic support.
Collaboration is woven into the fabric of our school community, empowering students to work together towards common goals. From community outreach initiatives led by our Student Leadership Team to engaging in real-world problem-solving and STEM activities, our students develop into critical thinkers and collaborative problem-solvers.
